National Marriage Week
The observances of National Marriage Week (Feb. 7-14) is an opportunity to focus on building a culture of life and love that begins with supporting and promoting marriage and the family. This year’s theme is “Man and Woman He Created Them: Together with Purpose.”
It is more important than ever to spread the word and hope about the value of the institution of marriage. Marriage is the bedrock of our society. When that crumbles, our homes and families crumble, our children then struggle, and our communities deal with the ripple effect. Our nation grows weaker or stronger….tracking and tracing all the way back into each home, family, and marriage.
We will celebrate National Marriage Week on the weekend of February 14th and 15th with a special blessing for all Married couples at the weekend liturgies. Let us pray for all married couples, and those preparing to enter into marriage.
