Knowing that some parishioners at St. Augustine and St. Matthew may be unable to attend Sunday Mass, the Boyne Valley Catholic Community (BVCC) Homebound Ministry Program is actively helping. Ten BVCC parishioners have been certified to be homebound ministers and are able to make weekly visits, taking the Eucharist to those parishioners who are homebound. A minister is matched with each homebound parishioner, and a day/time visit schedule is arranged. These visits can be set up on a regular weekly basis or on an “as-needed” basis.
