Thank you for all your wonderful donations to go toward the Overnight Baked Oatmeal that will be given out to Good Neighbors Food Pantry shoppers this month. The recipe is wonderful and we hope all the shoppers will try it as you have given them the ingredients they need to create this dish.
For our next offering, just before Memorial weekend, we will be partnering with Chef extraordinaire, Nathan Bates. He is the “Chef/Food Service Director” at Boyne Falls Public Schools, and they have an amazing, stellar food program. He is well-known among local food advocates. He also has a business, “Eat Nicely” – he sells soup at the BC Farmers Market, and elsewhere. His business card says “Chef and Culinary Educator.”
Nathan will be creating and providing his recipe for White Chicken Chili. Our donations to go toward this dish:
*Chicken Broth (small boxes, please)
We are hoping to get 70 of each of these items to give out, with the recipe and other ingredients, in May.
Thank you for your generosity and for feeding your neighbors! If you have any questions, please email Nancy Simon at email@example.com
